Hello race fans.  My name is Jesse Jarjour and I would like to welcome you to OurRaceCar.com!  I created this site as a way to bring fans together and give them a chance to be more than just fans, do more than sit at home on the couch or attend the odd race.  I want to give fans the opportunity to become more involved and active in the sport of automotive racing.

Let me first tell you a little about myself.  I currently live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  For those who don’t know, Manitoba is located directly above North Dakota.  Apart from some dirt tracks, drag racing and auto cross, there isn’t much in the form of auto racing up here.

I first got into auto racing in the late 90’s after I stumbled across some late night World Rally Championship racing.  I was amazed at the control those guys had and was hooked on racing from then on.  From there I got into F1 then the 24 hour of Le Mans.  From there it has expanded into basically every aspect of racing.  I love it ALL!   My dream is to take a BMW M3 for a couple hot laps of the Nürburgring.

Professionally, I work in the service industry while completing a Commerce degree at the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba.

I would like to make it clear that I have no plans to manage OurRaceCar.com Racing, just the website. Although I would love to have the chance to manage the team, I understand that I am nowhere near qualified and its best to leave it up to a professional team manager.
